It’s an incredible spot for visiting Oaxaca beach. All installations are thought to create a sense of luxury and simplicity at the same time. And service is incredible, amazing people working there.
I had a wonderful experience! The service was exceptional, and the hospitality truly made me feel welcomed. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time! One of the highlights of my visit was the hibiscus water! You need to try it!
The stay at La Flia is unforgettable. The privacy of the backyard and the openness of the living quarters made the villa the perfect place for our stay. The service team was attentive to our needs even some adaptation was needed. The food from the chef is exquisite. I recommend Westerners to require the international menu. Tip: I recommend to bring earplugs since we are close to nature, like birds, roosters and dogs active at night sometimes, and the crushing waves too.
Unforgettable experience: luxury meets personal care in an unspoilt oasis We just spent 5 days at La Flia with my wife, and it was a memorable experience, across the board. The villa was simply great, with brand new, modern and nicely decorated rooms and living area, as well as individual sundeck and infinity pool overlooking the beach. Everything was superbly taken care of by the super attentive property staff (Luz, Hasibe, Danila, Amy and Santiago), whose mission in life is to make you enjoy your stay to the fullest, addressing any request that you may have (from organization of external activities, to dining requests, to transportation) while been super discreet and respectful of your privacy. The variety and quality of meals was simply phenomenal, with a collection of breakfasts, lunches and dinners which were to die for and not second to what you may expect from top restaurants in 4-5 star hotels. A big thanks to the chefs, Daniel and Aldo, who were the master-minds and artists behind this. In this respect, a kind suggestion to any fellow travellers: just let them know if you have any dietary restriction (e.g. gluten-free, like in my case), and then just let them decide what to prepare; that will be the best way to discover dishes which you probably never tried before, and / or which you may otherwise fail to pick from a menu, which would be a great miss. During the stay we also booked a couple massage and a cacao ceremony; all of these experiences were performed at our villa and were absolutely great. Last but not least, the beach and the sea in front of the villa are great, you can have hours long walks along the shore surrounded by unspoilt nature, just in time to finish the day being blown away by some of the most amazing sunsets. My wife and I fell in love with La Flia and with Puereto Escondido, and definitely recommend both to anyone who has not yet experienced them.
I absolutely loved this location for the retreat I patricipated in. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot right on the beach, yet still close to Puerto Escondido. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. One small suggestion for management would be to add clearer signage along the road to make it easier for taxis to find the property.
We had such an amazing holiday at La Flia in Puerto Escondido! We had dinner and the whole setup right on the beach was just perfect — great vibes, beautiful sunset, and super friendly people. The food was incredible, full of fresh flavors and made with so much love. They even went out of their way to make homemade pizza and pasta for the kids, which they absolutely loved! It felt really special having dinner with friends by the ocean. Everything was relaxed but still top quality. Definitely one of our favorite memories from the trip. Can’t recommend it enough!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was good. I especially appreciated the peacefulness of the beach. There were chairs, parasols, and cushions for our comfort. The accommodation was very well maintained. I highly recommend this place.
We had a retreat at La Flia for one week in this magical beautiful setting. Comfortable beds, right on the beach with beautiful palm trees and flowers, very clean, the pool just for us in our villa made it easy to relax and reset. Always polite and friendly staff bringing us food. It was a great setting for our group, we enjoyed the privacy!
